A HTML5 open source tool to conduct studies based on Libet’s clock paradigm
Libet's clock is a well-known procedure in experiments in psychology and neuroscience. Examples of its use include experiments exploring the subjective sense of agency, action-effect binding, and subjective timing of conscious decisions and perceptions. However, the technical details of the apparatus used to conduct these types of experiments are complex, and are rarely explained in sufficient ...
متن کاملComparison of Open Source Learning Management Softwares and Presenting a Native Evaluation Tool
Introduction: Nowadays all educational institutes are trying to use technology in their structure. This effort has been faced with different barriers, including cost, time, and support. Therefore, using open source softwares can partially help us in using technology. In this article, we review main features of several open source learning management softwares, while presenting a tool which incl...
متن کاملAn Open Source Rule Induction Tool for Transfer-Based SMT
In this paper we describe an open source tool for automatic induction of transfer rules. Transfer rule induction is carried out on pairs of dependency structures and their node alignment to produce all rules consistent with the node alignment. We describe an efficient algorithm for rule induction and give a detailed description of how to use the tool.
متن کاملAn open-source, MATLAB based annotation tool for virtual slides
Background Computer aided analysis of virtual slide images has become an increasingly popular research topic and area of development. Novel applications are aimed for instance at automation of certain stages in sample assessment and assay readout (e.g. segmentation, detection, etc.) [2] or for reproducible measurement of a sample’s visual appearance (e.g. grading, morphological classes etc.) [3...
متن کاملDo Open Source Software Projects Conduct Tests Enough?
Do open source software projects provide and maintain tests? What metrics are correlated with the test success? This paper answers these questions by executing tests of 452 open source software projects in GitHub and measuring 13 metrics from 77 projects. Only 117 projects passed all test cases. Additionally, the results are correlated with the comment density, public documented API density, an...
